Petroleum is a type of fossil fuels which is made from the dead remains of animals. This remains gets converted buy the pressure and heat of the earth. This takes thousands of years to be formed and are non-renewable in nature.

EXPLANATION:

The various components of petroleum is LPG, CNG, kerosene, paraffin wax, petrol and diesel.

LPG can be used in our homes to cook food. CNG are generally used in vehicles as it gives much more efficiency than petrol and diesel.

Kerosene is also used as a domesticated product in houses for cooking of the food and for lighting purpose.

Petrol and diesel are very common as it is used in vehicles. The ignition point of diesel is much more less than that of petrol
