Right to education of every child is clearly a human right. It enables
the child to develop and realize its full potential as a human being.
Education plays a major role in the character formation of a child and
the subsequent development of personality. It develops in him the
ability to think and act according to the circumstances. It also enables
a child to develop a set of moral values, and to imbibe the spirit of
nationalism. It trains the child to be a good citizen, develops civic
sense and cultivates in him the values of participatory democracy.
