as roots takes the components from soil it reaches at root. roots absorb that food through roots hair. as the theory say's every component passes from higher pressure to lower pressure. there is a columb through the stems. as the food is finished from the that colombs cells the pressure gets low there. and after absorbing components from soil the roots have higher pressure. so it's passes from higher pressure to lower pressure. as the components passes in one cell it gives pressure to its upper cell and by that it gives up and up...so food passes it in way...
