What are the conclusions of davisson and germer experiment?

Before the Davisson and Germer experiment (DGE), electrons were treated as particles. But DGE proved that electrons have a wave nature too, they show diffraction. Their wavelength is given by :

Wavelength = Planck's constant  / momentum
