  • For the 3 equations of Linear motion to be applicable, the object must travel at

i. velocity lesser than speed of light

ii. constant acceleration and

iii. in a straight line.

  • At the speed of light or even at fractionally lesser speed, the equations of motion cannot be applied due to effect of relativity.
