The conditions for the formation of electro valent bond is -
1.Low ionization potential
2.Large electro negativity difference
3.it should be within a metal and a non metal
for example NaCl
In which Na is metal cl is non metal

an electrovalent bond is also called ionic bond.
an ionic bond is formed by the transfer of electrons from the cation to anion
Conditions for the formation of ionic bond:
1. They should have great electronegative difference.
2.Cation should have less nuclear charge than anion
3.Ionic bond is formed between a metal and a nonmetal
condition 1 says that there should be a great electronegative difference so that the anion is more electronegative and the cation is more electropositive.
this make the anion to pull the electron from the cation easily.
2nd condition can be explained as: if the nuclear charge of the cation is less than the nuclear charge of the anion then the ease of attraction of electron towards the anyone will be increased.
3rd condition: an ionic bond is always formed between a metal and nonmetal.
Hope it helps you!
