electronegativity should be high of participating atoms.
atomic size of the atoms should be small
ionization energy should be high.
electron affinity should be high of participating atoms

Anonymous: I am rimsha and which question is wrong
Taabish: No no I'm not talking to u I'm talking to ishita the one who got he brainliest answer
Anonymous: ok
Taabish: And can u explain ur answer further
ishita312: here listen small size of the atoms should be there in order to make strong covalent bond...i am not saying that it should not be large...
Taabish: BTW the ionisation energy should be relatively lower.for stronger covalent bonds. Also the electron affinity and electronegativity should be high for the anion not for the cation .You generalized it by saying electronegativity and ionazation energy should be high for "participating atoms"????!!!! That's not right.
Taabish: My explanation is from Fajan's rule for polarisation in covalent bonds you can also use paulings scale to find out whether the compound is ionic or covalent
Taabish: I'm sorry I'm wrong. Infact I'm quite confused by this question
Taabish: Because both concepts are correct but they contradict each other to a large extent
ishita312: no problems...

1.The atoms having tendency to lose electrons form covalent bond.2.The two combining atoms should have equal attraction for electrons
