What are the conditions of flotation
sinking of any solid in a given liquid
with respect to its density ?​

If a solid is more dense than the solvent then, an object will start to sink with respect of it's density.

If a solid is less dense than the solvent then, an object will start to float with respect of it's density.

This is how you express in terms of density

Floating Objects Examples : Plastic Empty Bottle, Paper and Oil

Sinking Objects Examples : Wood Logs, Large Stones, Toy Car and Any Metal
