Condition 1 __ when the density of both medium is same..
Light bends towards the normal when traveling from rarer medium to denser medium..
Light bends away from normal when it enters from denser medium to rarer medium..
In these case,, as the density of medium 1 and medium 2 is same..no refraction occurs..
Condition 2 __ when light ray incidents normally..
As the light incidents perpendicularly to he surface of the medium,, that is,, on the same path as that of the normal,, so here are no cases that it may bend either towards the normal or away from it..
