national parties ( condition required)
6% vote in lok sabha, 4 seat at least from each state
state party (condition)
6% votes in lok sabha, 2 seat from any one state

National party-- The party wins 2% of seats in the Lok sabha from at least three different states. At a general election to Lok Sabha or Legislative Assembly, the party polls 6% of votes in four states and in addition it wins four Lok Sabha seats.

State party-- Win at least 2% of the total Lok Sabha seats in a Lok Sabha General Election and these seats have to be won from at least 3 states
