Article 15 of our constitution prohibits all types of discrimination on the basis of religion, caste, sex, or ethnicity.

  • According to the Untouchability Offences Act, 1955, there will be a penalty if someone treats others badly on the grounds of untouchability.
  • Everyone can enter a place of worship, take water from sacred water well, and can perform prayer and other religious activities without any discrimination.
