changing hormonal balance of the body. It can be

done by taking oral pills.

iii. Intrauterine Contraceptive Device (IUCD) such

as the loop or the copper-T are placed in the

uterus to prevent pregnancy. The drawbacks with

these devices are bleeding and discomfort.
