The climate of any particular place is influenced by a host of interacting factors. These include latitude, elevation, nearby water, ocean currents, topography, vegetation, and prevailing winds. The global climate system and any changes that occur within it also influence local climate.

The six major factors that control climate of India are

  1. Latitude - Due to the current of earth air temperature decrease equator towards to pole this latitude.
  2. Altitude - At altitude the atmosphere become less than and temper decreases.
  3. Pressure and Wind System - Latitude and Altitude of the place influence pressure and winds system. Thus, temperature changes with this the rain pattern also changes.
  4. Distance from the sea - The area near the sea experiences very less charge in temperature but as we more away from Sea we see extreme climatic conditions.
