1) ALTITUDE - When we move from bottom to top , the temperature decreases and when we move from top to bottom, the temperature increases.
2) LATITUDE - Due to the curvature of the earth the amount of sunlight receive varies according to latitude. At the equator the temperature increases , at the poles the temperature decreases.
3)DISTANCE FROM THE SEA - The areas which are nearby the sea temperature decreases and which are far away from the sea temperature increases.
RELIEF - Several mountain like the Himalayas are high enough to lie in the path of rain bearing clouds and they cause rain.
