CONVENTION FOR WRITING UNITS :

⏭️ Units are written in small letters.

⏭️ If the unit is in the name of a Scientist, then for its symbol capital letter is used.

Example : Joule(J), Newton (N) etc.

⏭️ Units are never written in plural form.

⏭️ There must not be more than 1 solidas.

⏭️ No punctuation should be used in writing units.

ORDER OF MAGNITUDE :

Order of magnitude of a physical quantity gives us a value nearest to the actual value of the quantity in terms of suitable power of 10.
