what are the diffculties people face in a non-democratic country ? explain with example

People are not allowed to vote.They cannot choose the government. They cannot oppose the decision made by head of the government as in dictatorship. They are not even allowed to oppose the head or ruler and if they do so they can be given death punishment. The ruler can rule the country for lifetime and no one can replace and oppose him and it is in the hand of the ruler that the who will be the next head?
