What are the difference b/w the transport of material in xylem and phloem?

xylem have tracheids which conduct water from surroundings.. xylem vessles role is transportation of water and minerals along with it.

phloem helps in transportation of food

Phloem :-

1. Transport of food occurs in leaves to other parts of plant.

2. Conduction of food takes place through sieve tube and companion cells.
