Answer:

Amphibians live both on land and in water - in water with gills as they age with lungs on land. Their skin is smooth, moist, with mucous glands which make them sticky. They usually lay eggs in wet or damp places. Lack claws. They defend themselves by secreting toxic poison, they can also bite.

eg. frog

Reptiles have scales, breathe air, lays eggs. They breathe through lungs right after birth. They lay hard, leathery eggs on land. They defend themselves by tail-whipping, biting, claws.

eg. lizard
