Answer: autotrophic nutrition, organisms produce their own food while no such thing is possible in heterotrophic nutrition. Autotrophs are primary producers while heterotrophs are consumers. Autotrophs food production is independent whereas heterotrophs are directly/independently dependent on autotrophs for food.
