Well charge is a property of matter. Whenever transfer of charge (generally electrons are transferred as protons are heavier and do not generally move easily) takes place, transfer of mass also takes place.

For example, when an electron (mass:-9.1*10^(-31)kg) is transferred from body A to body B, the mass of A decreases and that of B increases. Hence you can generalise that a body with negative charge is heavier than an uncharged body. Similarly a positively charged body is lighter than an uncharged body.

Hope this helps.

CHARGE
1. Electric charge on a body may be positive, negative or zero.
2. Charge is quantized.
3. Electric charge is always conserved.

MASS
1. Mass of body is a positive quantity.
2. The quantization of mass is yet to be established.
3. Mass is not conserved as it can be changed into energy and vice versa.
