distance----- distance is the length covered by any object from its initial point to final point.
displacement----The shortest distance between final point to initial point is known as displacement.

d. It is always greater than or equal to the displacement
Displacement :-
a. It is the shortest path and and has initial and final points.
b. It needs direction.
c. It can be zero.
d. It can never be greater than distance.
