1. at first only people aged above 21 years were given the right to vote but now all the people aged 18 years and above are eligible to vote.
2. in the early years people used to vote through sheets but now new machine have been introduced which is called the electronic voting machines.
3. before they used to count the number of votes but now the voters turnout figures counts the number of votes.
4. before they used ballot boxes but now they use electronic voting machine to vote.

before for voting they used ballot paper .In this in one side party's name will be there and the symbol belong to it .but now for voting they r using EVM (electronic voting machine ).in the voters can click the button in this .but in ballot sheet we want to keep ink .age of voting is above 18. for standing in election for lok sabha and raja sabha is 25 according to artical84 b 173b.for governer35 artical157.for MLA 30 artical 84
