Difference between gross reproduction rate and net reproduction rate:
- The gross reproduction rate and net reproduction rate are similar to each other.
- New reproduction rate specifies the number of daughters a female will have if she goes through her lifetime taking into account factors like age, mortality and fertility.
- Gross reproduction rate is the number if daughters a female will produce when she goes through her lifetime taking the several factors into account but the only difference is that net reproduction rate takes into consideration the fact that 'some women will die' before completing the child bearing age and years.
