What are the difference between intrinsic and extrinsic semiconductor??

Semiconductors with no doping are called intrinsic semiconductors.

Semiconductors which are doped with the electrons or holes are called extrinsic semiconductors.

We use doping to enhance the properties of the semiconductors in order to meet the required design conditions
