Hi..
In optical microscopy, dark-field describes an illumination technique used to enhance the contrast in unstained samples. It works by illuminating the sample with light that will not be collected by the objective lens and thus will not form part of the image...
Light field microscopy is a scanning-free 3-dimensional microscopic imaging method based on the theory of light field. This technique allows sub-second large volumetric imaging with 1 μm spacial resolution in the condition of weak scattering and semi-transparence, which has never been achieved by other methods.
Hope this helps.. uu!!
