Listening is an active process where we receive and respond back to messages which are spoken.

When someone is listening, he is actively choosing to concentrate on what they are hearing followed by further processing the information to gain some knowledge.

Speaking is delivering any message with the help of mouth.

<b>Answer:

\underline\textbf{Speaking} - The process of uttering words from your mouth to give a message to the listener.

\underline\textbf{Listening} - The process of hearing the speaker's words through your ears. While listening we concentrate on the words of the speaker and then react in accordance of the words. Then we respond to the words by \underline\textbf{speaking} ( explained above ).

This is the way of \underline\textbf{conversation}.

Thanks !
