Answer:

respiration is cathabolic while photosynthesis is symbolic process

respiration uses oxygen while photosynthesis releases oxygen. respiration utilises energy where as photosynthesis produces energy. respiration doesn't require sunlight whereas photosynthesis requires sunlight

respiration doesn't require chlophyll while photosynthesis require it.
