Hi, fans u mean different between metal and non-verbal rights.
1)Generally metal are good conductor of heat and electricity whereas non-metals are bad conductor of heat and electricity.
2)metals are Sonorous whereas non-metals are not Sonorous.
3) metals are generally solid at room temperature whereas non-metals can be solid liquid or gas.
4)metals have high melting point whereas non-metals have low melting points compared to metal.
5)metals are generally ductile non-metals are not ductile.
If u satisfied please follow me

Metal:
1. They are solid in nature. (except mercury)
2.They are good conductors of electricity and heat.
3.They are hard and rigid.(except sodium and magnesium which can be cut easily)
4.They are ductile.
5.They are malleable.
6.They are lustrous.
7.Examples are Sodium, Aluminium ,Iron etc.
Nonmetal:
1.They are mostly gaseous in nature.
2.They are poor conductors of electricity and heat.(except graphite which is an allotrope of carbon)
3.They are soft. (except diamond which is an allotrope of carbon)
4.They are not ductile.
5.They are not malleable.
6.They are not lustrous.(except Iodine)
7.Examples are Oxygen,Carbon,Fluorine, etc.
