Three differences between 'glacier' and 'river' are as follows:
Glacier
(i) A moving mass of snow and ice is called a glacier.
(ii) Glaciers are found either on snow-caped mountains or in higher latitudes. Pindari glacier and Siachen glacier are examples in India.
(iii) The landforms created by the glaciers are Cirque, U-shaped valley, Arete, Moraine, Outwash fan etc.

River
(i) A mass of running water is called a river.
(ii)Rivers flow from mountain top to the oceans. The Ganga and Yamuna are the example of rivers in India.
(iii) The landforms formed due to river action V-shaped valley, Meanders, Ox-bow lakes, Deltas, Estuary etc.
