the differences between arteries ,veins and capillaries is as follows
ARTERIES
1. have thick and elastic walls.
2. blood flow with pressure.
3. arteries carry blood away from heart to the body organs. Heart > organs.
4. carry oxygen rich blood from heart to all parts of the body (except pulmonary artery)
5. do not have any valves.

VEINS
1. have thinner and less elastic walls.
2. blood flow is slow (low pressure)
3. veins collect blood from organs and carry it towards the heart. Organs> heart
4. carbon dioxide rich blood from all parts of the body to heart. (except pulmonary vein)
5. have valves which allow blood to flow only towards the heart.

CAPILLARIES
1. extremely thin walls.
2. blood flow is extremely slow.
3. Capillaries form a network of very thin tubes in between arteries and veins in the organs and tissues.
4. allow exchange of substances through their thin walls.
5. do not have any valves.
