Ex vivo:
Refers to a medical procedure in which an organ, cells, or tissue are taken from a living body for treatment or procedure, and then returned to the living body.
In vitro:
A medical test, experiment, or procedure that is done outside of the body, such as in a test tube or laboratory dish
Difference between the two terms:
The major difference is that ex vivo study involves the use of tissues where as in vitro study involves the use of artificial media, which resemble the biological fluids
