• What are the differences between electromagnet and a permanent magnet.

(Minimum 2 differences of both, otherwise it will reported and maximum differences as you wish)

HEY DEAR.....!!

Electromagnet - 1) It can produce very strong magnetic field.
 2) The strength of electromagnet can be changed by changing the no. of turns of coil or by changing the current.
3) The polarity of electromagnet can be changed by changing the direction of electric   current.

Permanent magnet -
1) A permanent magnet produces a comparatively weak magnetic field
2) The strength of this magnet cannot be changed.
3) The polarity of this magnet is fixed and cannot be changed.

1 it is not permanent when electricity not passes not a single metal can stick it .
2. it is usually of insulated wire wrapped into a coil

permanent magnet
1. it do not require electric current
2. it is made up of a magnetic rock
