Differences between fat soluble and water soluble vitamins:
- Vitamins dissolve in fats and oils are called fat-soluble vitamins.
- Vitamin A, D, E and K are fat-soluble vitamins. These are taken along with the fatty food items.

- They are readily dissolved in the body cells as they are soluble in water.
- These vitamins are not stored in our body.
- These vitamins will be destroyed while we cook food for a long time and destroyed by heat, light and improper storage methods.
