What are the differences between hardware and software

Hardware is any physical device or part of a computer which is used in or with a machine.
Eg., keyboard, CPU, RAM, monitor and so on.
Software is a set of code installed on the computer's hard drive which acts as the programming in the computer and makes it to run.
Eg., operating system, movie player, MS office, internet browser and so on.
Hardware

Software
- It refers to the programs that enable a computer to perform specific tasks .

- Software does not have a failure rate and hence, is more reliable
- Software can be viewed at the time of execution/loading
