Hardware is any physical device or part of a computer which is used in or with a machine.

Eg., keyboard, CPU, RAM, monitor and so on.

Software is a set of code installed on the computer's hard drive which acts as the programming in the computer and makes it to run.

Eg., operating system, movie player, MS office, internet browser and so on.

  • Hardware starts functioning once software is loaded

Software

  • Software can be viewed at the time of execution/loading
