Answer: The Difference is:
i. Hydrated Salts are the salts which are composed of a definite number of water molecules with which the salts react in order to form into a crystal.
ii. Anhydrous Salts are salts which are composed of an indefinite number of water molecules with which the salts react in order to form into a crystal.
For Example: Washing Soda or, Na2CO3 is a hydrated salt which react with a definite number of water molecules i.e. 10 H20 in order to form into a crystal.
Potassium Chloride (KCL), on the other hand, is an anhydrous salt which react with an indefinite number of water molecules and forms a crystal.
Hope this helps.
