What are the differences between incised meanders and meanders over flood and delta plains?

There are types of meanders

1.Incised meander are formed at the highlands where the river just starts to flow ,at this stage we call it youthfull stage

Plateaus and ridges may rise or fall leading to such meanders

2.flood plain meanders -are formed at the plains where the river has reached its youthfull stage .these maenders mostly form ox -bow lakes

At this stage meanders are open and pronouced as the river has lost its velocity
