what are the differences between mass and weight

is the actual amount of material contained in a body and is measured in kg, gm, etc. Whereas weight is the force exerted by the gravity on that object mg. Note that massis independent of everything but weight isdifferent on the earth, moon, etc.

there is not much difference in mass and weight.....

mass is always constant while weight is varies.....weight is depends up on the gravity of any planet....but mass is always constant....


if ur weight on earth is 6 kg....
Then ur weight is differ on moon ur weight may be 1 kg because there gravity is absence or very very low....
But ur mass is always same on any planet....
