Natural lakes are the lakes which are formed due to the rain water and dry during summer. Artificial lakes are the lakes which are man made by digging the ground and filling it with water and they do not dry in summer.

Natural lakes are formed naturally. The main medium is rain water by which this lakes are formed. While the man made or artificial lakes are formed by using a dam or to store water for some important purpose. They are also formed by digging a peace of land for putting out the big stones or rocks and in the rainy season it will fill up with rain water.

Hope it will help you.
