the northeast monsoon comes from Bay of Bengal and the southwest monsoon comes from Arabian sea.
northeast monsoon gives rain to Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, West Bengal and Orrisa
the southwest monsoon gives rain to rest of the India.
Arabian sea belt is most important for India as it gives rain to most part of India.
