What is difference between North Pole and South Pole?

• North Pole is a place where lines of magnetic field originate. These are a set of imaginary lines which are useful for qualitative assessment of the field. According to Fleming's law, the North Pole may be decided to use the right hand cork square rule. A North Pole always retracts to the North Pole and attracts the South Pole.
