ORGANIC COMPOUNDS:-
1) Organic compounds are characterized by the presence of carbon atoms in them.
2) Organic compounds consisting of hydrogen, oxygen, carbon, and their other derivatives.
3) Organic compounds are said to be more volatile and also highly inflammable.
4) These compounds exist in the form of Solids, gases, and liquids.
5) These are insoluble in water.

INORGANIC COMPOUND:-
1)Inorganic compounds do not have carbon atoms in them.
2) They do not possess hydrogen or oxygen and their derivatives.
3) These compounds are not inflammable and are non-volatile in nature.
4) These exist as solids.
5) These are soluble in water and also non-soluble in some of the organic solutions.

Hope this helps you friend

Differences between Organic and Inorganic compounds are:

  • Organic compounds are mainly composed of carbon and hydrogen compounds while Inorganic compounds are lack hydrogen.
  • The melting and boiling point of organic compounds are comparatively low while the melting and boiling points of inorganic compounds are high.
  • Organic compounds are volatile in nature while inorganic compounds are non-volatile in nature.
  • Organic compounds are combustible while inorganic compounds are not inorganic compounds.
  • Organic compounds are bad conductors of electricity while inorganic compounds are good conductors of electricity.
  • Examples of organic compounds are benzene, toluene, etc.
  • Examples of inorganic compounds are carbonates, carbides, etc.
