A resistor is an electric component with a predetermined electrical resistance, like 1 ohm, 10 ohms 100 ohms 10000 ohms etc.. Resistance is the property of a conductor, which determines the quantity of current that passes through it when a potential difference is applied across it.

Hello
Resistor : These are those substances which resist the flow of current(act as barrier in the flow of current).
Resistance: It is the property of Resistor which opposes or resist the flow of current.
Don't get confused
Resistor is substance which oppose flow of current and resistivity is the property of resistors to oppose the flow of current.
Simply resistor is substance and resistance is the property of that substance.
