Spinning jenny - it was invented to increase the speed of spinning threads in europe in the year 1674 by James Hargreaves.And it caused a revolt as many women lost their jobs due to it. It was invented when there was an abundance of labour.
Fly shuttle - it was invented to make the weaving process more efficient in India. It had horizontal threads called weft and vertical threads called warp.
It proved to be useful as It was invented to compensate for the labour demand
