Logging=excessive supply of water reduces air in the soil spaces.it is called logging. Lodging= sometimes untimely rains and strong wind result is falling down of crop plants at the maturation stage. this is cold lodging

Water logging is the process in which field is filled with excess water, it is the saturation level of soil with the water. In the process of water logging the level of underground water is too high.
Water lodging occurs when the water logging is there and destroy the crop when water logging occurs for some time it creates a water lodging problem. Both the process of water logging and water lodging destroy the crop plant and prevent their growth.
