✨Here is your answer✨
_____________________________________________
\color{red}{Difference}
⭐ Alternating current⭐
➡️An electric current which changes its direction after a certain fixed interval of time is called alternating current.
➡️The positive and negative polarities of an alternating current are not fixed.
➡️The powerhouse generators, bicycle
dynamos,car alternators produce an alternating current.

⭐Direct current⭐
➡️An electric current which always flows in the same direction is called direct current.
➡️The polarities of a direct current are fixed.
➡️The current produced by a cell or a battery is direct current.

\color{blue}{Advantages}
✨ Alternating current can be transmitted over long distances with negligible loss of energy.Since power wastage in AC transmission is almost negligible,the cost of AC transmission is low.
✨AC at any desired voltage can be obtained using transformer.
✨When required, AC can be changed into DC.

✌️Hope it helps you ✌️
☺️ Thank you☺️

DC current flow in only one direction but
AC current reverse its direction periodically with time

DC current produce with the help of DC generator but AC current produce with the help of AC generator

DC current cannot used for large scale of electricity for houshold purpose but AC current
used in household electrical appliances such as heater, iron etc

one advantage of AC over DC is that electric power can be tranmitted over log distances without much loss of energy

many houshold substrances are work on AC current
