What are the differencesame between a fossil fuel and fuel?? Please someone say the answer

generally fossil fuel is the fuel that we obtain after the fossils r subjected to pressure, high temperature, etc. example- coal petroleum. whereas fuels are anything which can be burned (or I should rather say oxidised) to produce energy example-wood
and... the fossils fuel generally have a better energy to residual ratio than the fuels... :)

There is little fundamental difference between "natural" fuels such as wood and fossil fuels such as coal and oil. Both contain the same combustible substances: essential oils and body fats from dead plants and animals. The primary differenceis the concentration of available energy in the fuel.
