Hi user,

Aerobic Respiration is the respiration which takes place in the presence of oxygen which involves complete breakdown of glucose. More energy is released during this respiration.

Anaerobic Respiration is the respiration which takes place in the absence of oxygen which involves incomplete breakdown of glucose. Less energy is released during this respiration.

Yeast ,certain bacteria and some other types of microorganisms use anaerobic respiration.
