1.Relative cell address - is one that when copied from one position to the other will adjust the formula cell address to suit the position it is in.

2.Absolute cell address - that contains a dollar sign($) in the row or column coordinate or both. When you enter a cell reference in a formula, Excel assumes it is a relative reference unless you change it to an absolute reference.

3.Mixed cell address - is either an absolute and relative row or absolute row and relative column. When you add the dollar sign ($) before the column letter you can create an absolute column or before the row number you create an absolute row.
