At least 8 characters—the more characters, the better.

A mixture of both uppercase and lowercase letters.

A mixture of letters and numbers.

A strong password for e-mail accounts must fulfill the following criteria:

❍ Should be a minimum of eight characters long.

❍ Should be a combination of words.

❍ Should not be the name of any family member,important dates, name of pets, passport number, driver's license or your hobbies.

❍ Avoid using dictionary words as passwords.

❍ Must not include any part of the user's account name in the password.

❍ Create a password that includes the characters of at least three types from the following categories:

  • Special characters, such as #,$,%,@ and &.
  • Numbers, such as 1,2,3 and 4.
  • Uppercase characters, such as A,B,C and D
  • Lowercase characters, such as a,b,c and d.
