At least 8 characters—the more characters, the better.
A mixture of both uppercase and lowercase letters.
A mixture of letters and numbers.
Inclusion of at least one special character, e.g., ! @ # ? ] Note: do not use < or > in your password, as both can cause problems in Web browsers.
A strong password for e-mail accounts must fulfill the following criteria:
❍ Should be a minimum of eight characters long.
❍ Should be a combination of words.
❍ Should not be the name of any family member,important dates, name of pets, passport number, driver's license or your hobbies.
❍ Avoid using dictionary words as passwords.
❍ Must not include any part of the user's account name in the password.
❍ Create a password that includes the characters of at least three types from the following categories:
- Special characters, such as #,$,%,@ and &.
- Numbers, such as 1,2,3 and 4.
- Uppercase characters, such as A,B,C and D
- Lowercase characters, such as a,b,c and d.
