Different forms of power sharing are-
1. Horizontal power sharing- in this the power is shared between organs of government which are placed at same level. Ex- in india power is shared between legislative judiciary and executive
2.vertical power sharing- in this the power is shared between different levels of government from higher to lower level. Ex- decentralization and sharing of power between state central and local government.

3.between communities- in this the power is given to each community to resolve their cultural religious and linguistic matter.
Ex-community government in belgium.

4.between political parties and pressure groups-in this form the Power is shared between parties and pressure groups though pressure groups did not participate in elections but from outside it influence the working of government.
Ex- as we have seen in history -hindumahasabha. In todays time -aimplb, rss ,abvp are example
